Habitrail Ovo PadThe Habitrail Ovo Pad cage is the studio apartment of hamster habitats, with everything your pet could ever need in terms of comfort and exercise space. The high walls and domed “roof” are inherent characteristics of the new range – preventing the age-old issue of bedding being pushed out of the habitat. With evenly spaced ventilation holes to both the dome and wheel-wall, your hamster still gets the best ventilation – while pesky odours are significantly reduced. The roof consists of four parts, two of which act as retractable doors for easier access to your pet. Additional features of the “Pad” include a raised bed and feeding area, running wheel, and external passage to the unique dropper water-bottle as well as two horizontal viewing windows. One of the smaller models in the new Ovo range, the Pad is the ideal starter pod for your new hamster regardless of his/ her size. Habitrail Ovo StudioThe “Studio” is the next step up in the Habitrail Ovo hamster cage range, benefiting from a number of additional add-ons, for up to four creative environment possibilities. Featuring four curved, and one U-turn tube, the habitat may be expanded horizontally, or vertically depending upon space. Two cubic compartments feature four multi-way connections and the “elbows” make the twist and lock system a doddle. The Studio habitat is of the same size and design of the Pad, with the bonus of an interactive, chewable maze – ideal for hamsters to keep their teeth in shape. Habitrail Ovo LoftCurrently the largest model within the Ovo range, the “Loft” benefits from over double the floor space of the Pod, and far more room for creative adaption. Measuring 69cm long x 30 cm wide, the Loft is best suited to a table or counter-top with 25cm of height space. The loft benefits from the same perforated, domed roof as the smaller model, with a steel-grid double door for ease of access. Adventurous Add-Ons The main attraction of the Habitrail Ovo hamster cage range is the endless opportunity for customization and expansion. Each modular system is compatible with both the Ovo and Original Lock Systems meaning that an exhaustive number of adventure pet playgrounds can be created. If you're short on horizontal space, the Habitrail Ovo Tower makes for a great addition, to develop the cage system vertically. Two curved tubes along with two elbows enable extension of the den up to 30cm above the pod habitat, well away from food and sanitary areas. The Habitrail Maze is another great feature, allowing expansion of the modular system to include an exploration area - in which you can place treats. The OVO Maze is available in either pink or blue, with a themed chewable cardboard maze insert. Two retractable doors at either entrance also make the Maze a convenient carrier for your pet, should you not have the room to attach it to the pod.
